I’ve always had a hard time giving myself days off.
Time to rest.
Time to rejuvenate sore muscles, exhausted mind and jumbled emotions.
But, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing over the past week.
In the mountains.
Trying new things.
Surrounded by love.
Surrounded by nature.
Surrounded by the natural rhythm of the earth.
And…maybe some Olympics on the side.
Rest is an important component of our ability to be ready for our next challenges, our next experiences, our next adventures.
A few more days of rest and I will be ready.
